Tree 1) Total removal of a conifer tree approximately 8-10m high, with roots extending over 2m in one direction and raising the driveway. As the tree is 2m from the front of the house, this could be threatening the foundations. Tree 2) A reduction of the cherry tree in the back garden taking it to approximately 6m high and 3m spread in each direction. This would represent around a 50% reduction. The canopy extends up to the corner of the bungalow extension (5m away) and over the neighbour?s garden, blocking light to both gardens.I attach a not-to-scale plan of the property showing the location of both trees.A tree surgeon has been to look, and these proposals are in line with their recommendations.
