Description

Plan of site of tree, no 1 , Aesculus hippcastanum, will be attached. This tree has been pollarded many years ago and we were advised by an arborist about 12 yr ago (I applied through this portal) to have the regrown very tall epicormic branches shortened which was done. The trunk is forked and one fork grew a large bracket fungus, now fallen off, but this fork clearly has areas of rot the epicormic branches from it did not grow leaves this year. The other fork has at least one non vital epicormic branch.We have been advised that by an arborist that the tree is dying and felling has been recommended.My proposal for replacement is 2 Betula jaqumontii
