Description
All of the work required is to free the path taken by our telephone cable to the telegraph pole at the corner of our property. This is to enable us to protect the cables to our property own and multiple neighbours and to enable engineers to change our cable from copper to fibre. The cable is very thin and not easy to see in the trees but I have done my best to show it in a series of photos.1) It first passes through a couple of very small branches of a very big lime tree. We request permission to have these very small branches pruned back to give the cable free passage. 2) Next our cable and several of the cables running to adjacent properties pass through a group of five young but tall and spindly Silver Birch trees. Pushing against the trunk of the birches shows that their branches rub against the cables. We seek permission to remove these trees completely. They are thin and quite spindly and will seriously affect multiple cables if they get bigger. 3) Thirdly the cable runs through and rubs against multiple stems of a brown multi-stem hazel tree. This is particularly hard to show on photos. We seek permission to reduce the height of the Hazel by 50%.4) Lastly the cable runs through a Pine tree. It is snagged on one of the Pine tree branches and then runs on at an angle beyond that point. We seek permission to remove two small branches of the pine tree that are blocking the course of the cable. The yellow marks are on the relevant branches.
