Description

Addition of fibre optic cable at Strangers' Hall museum. The cable will follow the route of existing cables and will predominantly use the same apertures and fixings. Where this isn't the case, the existing cable will be removed and the new cable sited in the same place. The sheath will be exterior grade black cable. There will be clips into mortar joints by drilling a 5mm hole, the possibility of a new hole needed to be drilled in the floorboards from the Porter's Lodge up to the storage heater in the Great Hall if the current aperture is too small, and the drilling of a 10mm hole in a doorframe through to the offices, which is of low historic importance; roughly one hundred years old and very common.
