Large veteran ash, ca. 300 years old. It has a full crown, but a split in the stem at the base of the scaffold limb over the adjacent power line. The plan is to reduce this branch only, by 2 - 3 metres all round, to reduce the pressure on the crack and stop the tree falling apart.
