Description

Remove sand and cement pointing to gable end mid-section and remove perished/spalled stones. Replace previously removed stones using sourced stone to good match using 3.5 hydraulic lime mortar to bed in. Repoint previously removed pointing using 3.5 hydraulic lime mix (1 Hydraulic - 3 sharp sand). Remove plasters to alcoves (front bedroom), hang cavity drainage membrane to provide waterproof vapour barrier, overboard and plaster to make good. Cut and remove various areas of failed loose friable stone at front, prepare and back out all areas with restoration mortar to match as closely as practical.
