Description

Construction of new access route to allow for future management of reservoir, such as desilting and vegetation removal. The works include:- Moving and replacing several play structures within existing playpark to facilitate access of machinery. Replacement of sections of existing playpark fencing for demountable fencing. Construction of 6m by 13.2m concrete protection slab, over two buried gas mains. Construction of 4.5m by 32m concrete access ramp within Environment Agency land boundary to facilitate machine access into reservoir. Earthworks and associated works for construction of protection slab and ramp through area of neutral grassland and broadleaved woodland.
