Description

The proposed works reflect the the advice of recent fire compartmentation surveys. These reviewed the robustness in the event of a fire of existing separation between flats and in the attic voids above each flat. The recommended works are: 1) Fire Sealing to Heads of Existing Brick Loft Walls 2) Flexible Fire Curtain Barriers to separate flats within the loft spaces 3) Loft Access hatches to be replaced with fire rated hatches. 4) In-Flat Firestopping Works - Minor additional measures are proposed within flats e.g. within electric cupboards and some electrical vents
