Description

Like for like repair and redecoration of the external envelope, to restore the weathertightness and maintain the structural integrity of Watch House. Remove metal security grilles to the east facing windows and replace with a secure secondary glazing. Remove non-original timber infills, timber framing and obscured and wired security glazing to the windows in the west elevation and replace with heritage glazing. Remove later cement mortar fillets to rear of clock tower and replace with Code 5 lead flashing. Remove non-original metal security door to main entrance and replace with a timber door. Remove non-original solid timber main entrance door and replace with an aluminium framed glazed door. Remove later non-original additional timber facing to post. Remove non-original damaged plywood boarding to interior of veranda balustrade. Install replacement rainwater downpipe and gutter (ADDITIONAL AND REVISED INFORMATION)
