Description

Works to Marine Lake consisting of: New entrance signage to the southern entrance; New cycle racks to north and middle entrances; Construction of a replacement slipway/ramp structure; Re-surfacing the walkway; Refurbishment of 2 vacant existing spaces within the RNLI building located on the promenade walkway; Unit 1 includes the demolition and replacement of existing toilet facilities and partial demolition of main facade to create new openings to allow access to self-contained toilet cubicles from the promenade; Unit 2 includes retrofit and refurbishment of a vacant unit to provide concession facilities for the lake. Includes partial demolition of main facade for a new entrance door; Repairs to Madeira Gardens pavilion roof; A small section of a low brick wall to the south of the site will be carefully removed, stored, and re-instated at the end of the project to allow RNLI and site access along the walkway during construction
