Description

Replacement of existing gas boiler system with Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) with all associated works. Installation includes the construction of a new external compound with acoustic screening to the rear of the Leisure Centre to house the ASHP units and a new Ring Main Unit (RMU) to be housed within a Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) enclosure with a further GRP unit storing a Low Voltage transformer. The existing ASHP compound will be flattened and covered in hardcore. External alterations to buildings include the removal of existing gas flues. The Sports Hall Air Handling Units on the central roof will also be replaced like for like.
