Beech (T1) Crown thinning x20%, Reduce by 3.5 mtrs x2 lateral limbs on west side of crown (see photo), remove major dead wood.Reason : These works were carried out in 2003, and from ground level the tree has responded well and is in good physiological condition for its age. Removing this minimal amount of leaf bearing matter works will have minimal amount of effect of the trees capability to photosynthesis once in leaf.
