Description

Oak - reduce branch length by 3.5m where the canopy oversails the garden. Works requested to reduce canopy to a size more suitable for the location in a domestic garden, given proximity to the dwelling and garage and extent of shading and loss of sunlight to the garden which is considered excessive. Over the last 25 years the tree canopy has grown substantially such that it now covers 2/3 of the garden and at the current rate will cover the entire garden very soon. Appropriate tree pruning and sympathetic pruning is required and should be at no detriment to the tree.
