Description

Fascia and guttering is currently severely damaged which poses risks to foot traffic on Jetty Street and Tucker Street. Proposal involves investigation and maintenance to replace current fascia & guttering and make good. Contractor site visits have advised that the entire front of shop and wall on Jetty Street would require scaffolding and street closure. Aprox job timescale would be 2 weeks. The property is a grade II listed building and we are also seeking permission guidance on the materials required as a listed building. The owner of the flats above the East Anglia's Children's Hospice shop property has reported water damage on the ceilings in 2 rooms. Whilst scaffolding is up we will seek to check roofing to ensure any damage has been repaired. We aim to complete both jobs at the same time to reduce public disruption around road closures.
