Description

To re-coppice a weeping willow and 2 birch as part of restoration work on the pond. Coppicing these trees will reduce shade and leaf fall to the pond. The intention is to allow them to re-sprout thus providing a more varied habitat and re-coppice in 5-10 years as required.A is a Weeping Willow (Salix sp. likely babylonica), B and C are coppiced Birch (Betula sp. possibly hybrid).
