Description

Amended work specification: After consultation with both the tree officer and the ecology officer my client would like to apply for permission to pollard Ash T1 (as per previous supplied sketch plan) to preserve any potential bat habitat whilst also mitigating the risk of structural failure. The four branches marked by red lines as indicative cut points (Figure 1) will be reduced to approx. 15cm to 30cm stubs for regenerative growth. To reduce structural loading of the main stem it will be reduced to the inner blue line (Figure 1). To protect any potential roosts (Non confirmed at present) the stem will first be reduced to the outer blue line followed by prudent cutting to the inner blue line past a potential access point between the two.
