Trees T11-T5.Background to the worksRoots excavation has now occurred and it is apparent that major structural roots will be lost to allow for construction. This will result in the need of mitigation pruning to aid stabilization. Tree pruning works schedule is attached as a separate file. Overview of large roots to be prunedT11_ 7X T7_ 1X 40 MM +. T6_ 1X 40 MM +. T5_ 1X 40 MM+T11) Crown reduce by 2m on north, east and west side including the height. Leave all epicormic and minor lower growth intact.T10) Crown reduce by 2m on north, east and west side including the height. Leave all epicormic and minor lower growth intact.T9) Pollard to approximately 12 m to suitable knuckles/collars. Indicative pruning line will be to match the previous pruning points. Leave all epicormic and minor lower growth intact.T8) Pollard to approximately 12 m to suitable knuckles/collars and match in with adjacent tree (T9). Leave all epicormic and minor lower growth intact.T7) Crown reduce by 3m on north, east, west including the height. Leave all epicormic and minor lower growth intact.T6) Crown reduce approx. 2-3m on north, east, west including the height and match in with adjacent tree (T7). Leave all epicormic and minor lower growth intact.T5) Severe cavity that extends approx.. 400 mm in lower trunk. Pollard to approximately 10 m to suitable knuckles/collars.
