Description

Listed Building Consent application for rebuild of structurally defective west elevation wall, internally and externally, with insertion of currently absent foundations, tying wall into existing fabric and replacing perished stone as required. Additionally, consent is sought as part of this application to carry out the following works: Re-introduce missing material to south gable wall to facilitate roofing re-instatement and safe re-setting of the south gable east pinions, re-pointing, re-flashing and replacement of modern chimney pot in respect of south gable chimney, localised re-building of structurally defective lower section of south gable wall (external skin), localised re-build of wall flanking fire escape door on first floor at south end of east elevation with like-for-like replacement of two historic wall plate sections, introduction of timber to create required roof tilt, replacement of modern timber supports (internally) with inadequate bearing with structural wall and wall-plate (amended title) (Listed Building) (Conservation Area) (Affecting the setting of a Listed Building).
