Description

T1 - Lime - Undertake a lateral branch reduction of no more than 1.5m from the tips inwards on the lowest primary branch growing in a westerly direction towards the dormitories. This will reduce the risk of catastrophic failure due to the overextended nature of the branch. T2 - Lime - Undertake an upper crown reduction of no more than 4m and a lateral branch reduction of no more than 2.5m from the tips inwards. This work will reduce the risk of catastrophic failure within the branch junctions. G1 - Beech - Raise the crown of all trees over the driveway to no more than 5m from the ground. This will allow for clear passage of high sided vehicle access to the school. T4 - Sycamore - Fell as close to ground level as practically possible. The tree is a poor specimen growing prototropically on a raised bank adjacent to the exit. T5 - Beech - Fell as close to ground level as practically possible. This tree is of poor specimen and have limited longevity within the current environment. T6 - Sycamore - Fell as close to ground level as practically possible. The trees are poor quality and adjacent to the highway. T7 - Sycamore - Fell to ground level. The tree is heavily weighted towards the school grounds high on a raised bank. The risk of failure is greatly increased as is the damage which would likely be caused to the power cable below. The following tree is being considered under a Section 211 Conservation Area tree notice P/TRC/2024/00396: T3 - Beech - Reduce the NW aspect of the crown by no more than 1.5m from the tips inwards and raise the crown to 5m from ground level.
