Description

T1 - Conifer - Fell due to unstable root plate. The tree is leaning towards an outbuilding belonging to a neighbouring property (see attached photo). This has been noticed by local residents and is thought to be recent. The lean of the tree is constant throughout its entire height and there is no signs of vertical growth near the top. Inspection of the root plate area revealed very soft soil. The area around the tree has been excavated to create parking and access which could have caused root damage. There has been historic tree failure in the same location with another conifer tree falling onto a car.
