Application Details
Description
T1 - Holm Oak - Remove the lower branches to raise crown to 1.8m from the ground. This tree has poor form with many of the branches touching or just above ground level. To minimise the chances of creating a decay column in the main stem, selectively alternating the pruning cuts taking the smaller diameter branches back to the main branch collars and leaving larger diameter branches as 30cm long stumps. This solution means that the tree can be retained and the landowner is able to use the ground beneath the tree. T2 - Ash - Shorten lowest branches over the footpath by a maximum of 2m until a clearance of 2.4m height is achieved to the footpath. T3 - Yew - Shorten branches back to the boundary by shortening them by a maximum of 3m from the tips to a height of 2.4m from the ground. T4 - Bay - Fell to create space for alternative planting.
