Description

T1 - Poplar - Co-dominant stems and union at approx. 1m from base. Reduce crown by reducing by a maximum of 3m in length. Remove lowest primary limbs to a create of 1m to power line. Reasons: To facilitate clearance of the power lines and remove the encroachment on the property from the lower limbs and to reduce the loading of the co-dominant stems by reducing the size of the crown. T2 - Sycamore - Strip of decay approx 2m from base. Coppice to a height of 1ft. Reasons: Because of the decay and that the tree is now exposed to wind from a new direction after an existing line of Monterey Cypress have been removed. G3 - Line of 6 Cypress & 1 suppressed leaning Ash - Located along boundary of neighbouring bungalow 24 Shaston Road. Fell (1x dead, 1x co-dominant stem at approx. 4m high with inclusion and failed stem at approx. 3m high hung up in neighbouring tree). Reasons: Because some of the trees have failed (please see annotated photos) and there is potential for damage to a bungalow situated nearby from another tree due to their location. The whole line is now more exposed to wind after an existing Monterey Cypress that failed in a storm has now been removed. T4 - Monterey Cypress - Fell as in decline/nearly dead. G5 - Ash - Tri-dominant stems have failed. Along boundary of neighbouring bungalow 24 Shaston Road. Coppice to a height of 1m.
