Description

T1 - Horse Chestnut - Co-dominant stem has previously failed or been removed in the past, at a height of approximately 1m and this has decayed partially in to the main stem near the base of the tree. The tree has been topped, in the past, at a height of approximately 3m, this has result in 3 co-dominant stems growing from this point. The upper canopy has 2 topping points, several lopping points and rubbing branches that have resulted in decay. It is my recommendation, taking in to account the potential failure points within the tree, (and refusal from the council to fell on a previous application) to crown reduce by reducing branches by a maximum of 2m in length and to reduce the overextended limb towards Wood House Gardens and the house by 3m.
