Description

Deer Park (location 1) - Fringe of woodland, approximately 900m in length, as marked by red line on plan. Works required to replace existing stock fence by a 1.8m deer fence. Mixed species, in the main ash, beech, holly, oak and sycamore: Remove/reduce branches, to crown lift over parkland, to give up to 4 metres clear above ground level trees. All final pruning cuts will be less than 30cm diameter, all but about three pruning cuts will be considerably smaller. Felling 5 individual trees, along the approx 900m length. Orchard Plot (location 2) - Fringe of woodland/boundary planting, approximately 220m in length, as marked by red line on plan. Works required to replace existing stock fence by a new post and wire netting stock fence approx. 1.2m high. Mixed species, including cryptomeria, hawthorn and willow: Remove/reduce branches, to crown lift, over field to give up to 3 metres clear above ground level and reduce spread of weeping willow (crown lift to 3m) close to roadway.
