Description
The Solar PV installation will be installed onto the roof of the Jobcentre on Westwey Rd, Weymouth. The panels will be fixed to the pitched roof in the middle of the building. These again will not protrude more than 0.2 m from the roof surface or be within 1m of the edge of the building. The solar modules themselves are a dark blue / black colour in appearance with an anodised aluminium frame. The modules consist of silicon wafers embedded between low reflection glass and an EVA backing. We are proposing installing 160 panels. Each will be 500W in capacity giving a site wide total of 80 kWp.
