Description

Request for a formal EIA Screening Opinion for proposed increase in permitted concerts from 10 to 24 events per year. A capacity of 85,000 for 8 of those 24 events and 80,000 for the remainder (16 events). All events to be at a maximum of 75 decibels (using the current definition of not more than 75 dB(A) 15mins Leq measured 1m from the façade of sensitive receptors) The ability to have 4 consecutive nights of concerts.The regularising of the 62,500 capacity for all sports events (currently capped at 60,000 except for West Ham football matches); and Reduced annual frequency of sports events from 87 to 70.
