Listed Building Application: Remedial action to parapet wall including intrusive investigations, the following remedial action is recommended to be undertaken to prolong the lifespan of the property: 1. New 'expansion joints' should be cut into existing wall, 2. Install continuous cavity tray to allow water to escape from the cavity through new weepholes cut into perpends at 1800mm centres, 3. Carry out crack stitching repairs in locations where vertical fractures exist in the parapet walls using stainless steel 'Helibar' stitches set into mortar bed joints and repointed using like for like mortar.
