Oak - Work already granted: Crown raise upto 3M all around and reduce back from number 4 by 2.5MIn light of the recent damage the tree has sustained with a major branch snapping out and incidentally snapping other branches we are seeking permission to reduce the limb shown in the photo with the large wound to below the wound, unfortunately the recent limb snap and future needed work is going to change the aesthetic.In that past the tree has had an overall reduction to help maintain its size and shape, due to the damage a selective prune of the longer branches protruding from the canopy would be more appropriate alongside target pruning any limbs that show signs of being potentially weaker by up to approx 2.5m. The majority of these limbs are heavily laden lateral branches with some showing signs of squirell damage or protruding from the canopy.
