Description

There is a large Oak Tree on the boundary of The Old Rectory and St Marys Primary School, Mucklestone. The tree in question had a large limb snap out onto the schools driveway earlier this year. I was asked by the landowner to attend the property and perform a climbing inspection on the offending tree. Following my inspection I have identified a number of defects and dead wood in the crown and also a large defect on the main stem. It is my opinion that this tree is going to be a continual safety concern for the schools staff and students and I am recommending that the tree be removed and a replacement tree put in its place.I have attached a number of pictures identifying the hazards in question and a picture of the trees position in relation to the schools driveway.I will also add that to carry out the works we will need to work from the school side so it is important that the works be carried out within the schools 6 week holidays.
