Description

Removal of legacy hedge comprised of Ivy, Holly, and Hawthorne. The hedge is adjacent to the property's driveway and also a public footpath and allotments. Due to the overall condition, health and appearance of the hedge which has been overtaken by Ivy and Holly the applicant is seeking to replace it with a privet hedge to match existing hedge type at the front of the property. This would involve the removal of the existing hedge up to the existing Leylandii hedging that runs the remainder of the length of the property's boundary and adjacent to the public footpath. Privet would be planted in its place, planted 40-45cm apart with a 40cm wide trench for single row, and at a depth equivalent to the Privet's root ball in line with BS3998 requirements.
