This would remove some weight from both trees plus allow the passage of wind through the canopy.Dead wood removal as part of this process would also be carried out.Pine tree (1) to the right side of the garden looks to contain numerous limbs that have twisted and partially failed due to the weight of foliage attached.Proposed removal of any damaged limbs.Proposed lateral reduction of all other limbs on Pine (1) by 1 meter to alleviate some weight at the tips of each branch and to future proof the tree.Pine (2) requires less work but would benefit from crown lift to 4 meter from ground level to relieve some weight from limbs.
