Description

Removal of 2 x Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum)Reasons for Tree Removal: Our assessment has revealed that the critical infrastructure works required at Boughton BPS make it unfeasible to retain the two identified Horse Chestnut trees. The need for upgrades and maintenance has now become critical to ensure the reliability and functionality of our services, and unfortunately, preserving the trees is incompatible with these crucial infrastructure developments. In our commitment to environmental stewardship, we have explored various alternatives to tree removal. Regrettably, none of the alternatives are compatible with the scope and urgency of the infrastructure works. However, we propose to implement alternate planting measures, subject to the guidance and approval of the LPA officer, to offset the environmental impact. Council to advise to advise suitable replacements for the Horse Chestnut trees, We propose working with the LPA in planting the replacement trees in strategic locations to ensure optimal environmental benefits and aesthetics.
