Description

The existing Bradstone roof tiles have a life expectancy of 50 years and have been in place since the early 1970s. They are failing and there can no longer be patch repairs as any work on the roof causes further displacement of tiles. The applicant wishes to provide a replacement that has a longer life and is more environmentally friendly. Clay roof tiles have an expected life of around 100 years, are a natural material and are available in colours and textures which are a close match to the current tiles.
