Description

Reinstatement of a NRW flood warning station that has been in situ since year 2000 but was temporarily removed for essential bridge works in June 2022. Reinstatement would include the construction of a small concrete plinth used to anchor a solar kiosk containing river level monitoring and telemetry equipment. An armoured signal cable will be running from the kiosk to a radar head mounted on the downstream side of the bridge approximately 1/3 of the way across form the right bank (Welsh side). There will be no connection of utilities involved (eg BT or mains electricity).
