Description

The proposal is to extend the house at Sunny Dene by adding two additional rooms to the rear face, a total of 42 square metres, the intent being to provide office space for working at home. The proposal is conventional in construction and materials are specified to match the style of the existing building.To support the proposal, some engineering works will be required, comprising the cutting back of the bank directly behind the house - along its length by a small amount (around 1m), and under the footprint of the extension by a larger amount (around 2.5m) - and the installation of retaining walls and floor coverings, accordingly.
