TPO/107/2/G T1- English Oak (rear garden) - Reduce lateral canopy by approximately 2m, and tops by approximately 3m to appropriate growth points, following BS3998 standards, utilising drop-crotch pruning methods to reduce stress and epicormic growth. Thin canopy by 30% to allow more light through the canopy, whilst still retaining some internal epicormic growth to help minimise stress and to follow appropriate tree pruning guidance. South West lowest branch to be reduced by approximately 3.5m to the woodpecker hole to help neaten the crown shape and reduce loading after a woodpecker hole. The aim of the reduction is to keep the tree managed before it becomes too big for its location and needs a more drastic reduction in the future.
