Description

The proposed development is for approximately 6.5km of 33kV underground cable, providing a grid connection to Corlacky Windfarm as approved under LA09/2016/0232/F. The underground cable is rated at 33kV and comprising of 3x240 mm2 single core XLPE cables installed in 100mm diameter duct also laid as a a spare duct for communication links. The cable trench will be no more than 500mm wide by 1000mm deep.The underground cable will be laid within both the road/carriageway and off line i.e. within agricultural land. A construction method statement is provided in the accompanying Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP)
