Description

T1 - Horse Chestnut - To carry out a crown reduction of the mature Horse Chestnut located in the rear garden by approximately 2.5 metres, reducing the overall height to circa 16.0 metres and the radial spread to approximately 8.0 metres. All pruning works will be undertaken back to appropriate growth points in accordance with BS 3998:2010 (Tree work – Recommendations). The aim is to retain a natural, well-balanced crown form while reducing end weight and overall sail area. The tree has previously been reduced and is situated in close proximity to nearby buildings. The proposed further reduction will help maintain the tree at a suitable size for its constrained location, thereby supporting its long-term retention while minimising potential future conflict with surrounding structures.
