Proposed works Fell and remove one Magnolia tree located in the front garden and remove a group of bamboo plants located in the rear garden along the boundary fence at 3 St Aubyn’s Avenue, SW19 7BL. Front garden – Magnolia tree: Approximate height 6 metres with an approximate crown spread of 6 metres. Rear garden – Bamboo: Group of bamboo plants located along the rear boundary fence between the subject property and the neighbouring property, approximately 4.5 metres in height and extending approximately 8 metres in length. Reasons for works The Magnolia tree located in the front garden has outgrown the available space and is positioned within the area required for off-street parking. Due to its size and location, there is currently insufficient space to safely park a vehicle within the driveway. Removal of the tree is necessary to allow the driveway to be widened and made functional, improving safe access and use of the property. The bamboo plants located along the rear boundary fence are spreading laterally and increasing in height. Their continued growth presents a risk of encroachment onto neighbouring land and potential damage to boundary fencing. Removal is proposed to responsibly manage the boundary, prevent further spread, and reduce the risk of future maintenance issues.
