Application Details
Description

Rear garden of 105 Home Park Road, adjacent to bounary with 8 Lambourne Avenue : 6 trees, all Hornbeam of various sizes, heights approximately 8m; planned treework: reduce height 1-2 metres, reduce crown 30%, where multiple stems have grown, reduce back to 1 or 2 main stems. 3 Ash trees in rear garden of 8 Lambourne Avenue adjacent to boundary with 103 Home Park Road; (Tree P sits on the boundary with 103 Home Park Road). Ash dieback disease has been found in an Ash tree at adjacent rear garden of 10 Lambourne Avenue; in view of this it is proposed to inspect the trees at the time of the treeworks and a) if Ash dieback, or other disease, is found in one or more trees, remove the affected tree(s); or b) if no Ash dieback or other disease is found: reduce the height and crown of the 3 trees by 30%. Should either of 2 of the Ash trees need to be removed, they will not be replaced by comparable trees of similar potential size. This is because the proximity of tree T of 99 Home Park Road, the ornamental tree V of approximate height 4m, the substantial Leylandii hedge and Ash Tree W of 103 Home Park Road and the Hornbeam trees N and O in the garden of 105 Home Park Road would make such replacement impractical and overbearing in the garden of 8 Lambourne Avenue. Should the third Ash tree be removed, it will be replaced by an ornamental tree of maximum eventual height 5-6m. The fourth Ash tree to be removed as it is close to two trees and renders the beds in that area impractical to cultivate without significant irrigation. It will be replaced by an ornamental tree of eventual height 4-5m. Rear garden of 97 Home Park Road adjacent to boudnary with 8 Lambourned Avenue; A large Sycamore tree to have 2 large branches removed as these are substantially overhanging 8 Lambourne Avenue garden. Rear garden of 103 Home Park Road and adjacent to boundary with 8 Lambourne Avenue: Leylandii hedge existing height 7-8 metre, reduce height by 2 metres and cut back of significant gr
