Description

Strip the failing pebbledash render from the facade to expose the original brick facing. Lower ground section to be refinished in white lime render, while ground storey upwards will be exposed brickwork repointed in traditional flush pointing style using lime mortar.Replace all 6 single glazed timber sash window inserts on the front facade with double glazed like-for-like timber units, finished in white, and with white spacers between the glazed panes. This includes two 3-over-6 sliding sashes, two 6-over-6 sliding sashes, one 1-over-1 arched sliding sash (which would be replaced with 6-over-6 arched sliding sash of a matching pattern to 24 and 29 New Road), and one Venetian sash. Timber frames will be restored and reused. Replace the existing main roof which is a combination of man-made slate and natural slate, with new natural slate roof.
