Description

Construction of a temporary access road to facilitate access to a temporary construction compound associated with the onshore substation works for the Neu Connect Interconnector project (MC/19/3015). The Proposed Development will primarily comprise an access road corridor (3.65m wide with a passing bay) which will serve as temporary access to the contractor; compound and a new junction with B2001 Grain Road; a turning head at the top of the access road; a temporary topsoil mound; two temporary culvert crossings at an existing ditch; a silt trap upstream of the existing ditch; and a temporary 300mm deep ditch.
