T80 - Large mature London plane in grounds of Kings School with spreading crown over walkway to St Margaret's Street and historic listed gatehouse:Crown lifting works:- Lift low hanging crown over front of Gatehouse by the removal of the 3-4 low hanging 'pendulate skirt' branches by 4-5m, pruning back to the parent branch (originates at 8m south east);- Lift low hanging growth over roof of gate house and N&W walls to ensure clearance of 3m pruning of small diameter branches only.Crown pruning works:- Branch originates 8m south east reduce longer protruding growth back into main crown framework by 1.5m from 11m to 9.5m, using drop crotch pruning techniques;- Branch originates 10m south east reduce longer protruding growth back into main crown framework by 1.5m from 12m to 10.5m using drop crotch pruning techniques;- Carry out very light pruning works to achieve 0.5m clearance of BT cables which pass throughout the tree by pruning small diameter branches only.
