**Amended Description** Application for a Certificate of Proposed Lawful Development to change the use of a property from a dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) to a children's home (Use Class C2), for a maximum of 3 children aged between 7 and 17 years old, cared for by 2 carers. A pool of 6 carers undertaking a 24‑hour shift pattern with 2 carers on duty 4 days on 3 days off, 2 carers on duty 3 days on 4 days off, and 2 carers on duty 3 days on 4 days off, with shift handovers taking place on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, including a 30‑minute changeover period between 10am and 10:30am. A Registered Manager will visit the property on an ad‑hoc basis between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday only, a Responsible Individual (RI) will visit twice a month on an ad‑hoc basis, a social worker will attend 1 day every six weeks, and Ofsted will attend the property once every 12 months. The property will provide no physical alterations to the external footprint of the building, nor significant structural changes.
