Description
REAR: ONE Mature Willow (T1):CROWN REDUCTION Ht by 2m from 13m to 11m LATERAL by 2m from 4m to 2m on NE compass point.REASON: Partial reduction of the crown's lower canopy where it overhangs the lawn and patio area, limiting the light to the garden area. Reduction in height to alleviate light issues and maintain balanced shape of the tree. This healthy tree overhangs the grass area and patio at the end of the garden. The top is also out of shape. We request the partially reduction by cutting back 2m of the overhanging main branches that are approximately 4m in length and cutting the top back by 2m. The reduction will restore the crown to a more balanced shape. See drawing of and the photos of the tree. This will be undertaken by our arborist.Informative A: The sensitive management of trees in Lewisham is greatly appreciated for landscape amenity, wildlife, wellbeing, and urban forest canopy for environmental benefits to mitigate the effects of climate change.Informative B: Wherever possible, please create habitat log piles in the garden from cut branches for wildlife and biodiversity.
