The Council raises no objection to the following AMENDED tree works to crown reduce sycamore T1 (not fell) and lesser crown reduction to T2, as proposed to agent in emails on 8 June & 1 July, telephone call 22 June and agreed by applicant 3 July 2026:FRONT: TWO Sycamore (T1,T2) (ht.14) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT by 2m from 14m to 12m, LATERAL REDUCE by 1m from 5m to 4m, to previous prune points. Reason: part of ongoing maintenance to roadside trees.FRONT: ONE Lime (T3) (ht.20m) RE-POLLARD by 5m to ht.15m to just below previous knuckles. Reason: part of ongoing maintenance to a roadside tree. REAR: ONE Sycamore (T4) (ht.12m) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT by 2.5m from 12m to 9.5m, LATERAL REDUCE all compass points by 1.5m from 5m to 3.5m. Reason: to allow more light to the clients garden/property whilst being sympathetic to the overall amenity value of the surrounding tree stock present.Informative A: huge thank you for amending the proposed works to retain both front sycamores T1 & T2 with crown reduction for treed street frontage amenity, linear green infrastructure, wildlife habitat, to reduce rainfall runoff rate, and reduce temperatures during heatwaves.Informative B: please create habitat log piles with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity. Informative C: tree planting within the frontage is encouraged for age diversity and treed frontage amenity long-term.Informative D: thank you for retaining existing front and rear trees and planting new trees in the rear garden for amenity, wildlife and shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change.
