REAR: FIVE dead Leyland Cypress (T1-T5)(ht.3m) FELL. Duty to replace applies with species to be agreed with council - see Informative B below. Reason: dead monoliths, trees were cut down without permission by someone else some years back and are now decaying monoliths.Informative A: Duty to replace - the landowner has a duty to plant another tree of an appropriate size and species when a tree is removed in a conservation area because it is dead or presents an immediate risk of serious harm. Ref. Tree Preservation Orders and trees in conservation areas, guidance, para 121. Informative B: Replacement planting - 3 trees selected from: crab apple, quince, medlar, mulberry, pear, hazel, hawthorn to replace amenity, wildlife habitat and shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change. Informative C: please create habitat log piles with some arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
