REAR (boundary): ONE dead Ash (ht.12m) FELL. Duty to replace applies. Reason: the tree is dead. During a recent site inspection, it was identified that there is a dead Ash tree within the rear car park that requires removal due to immediate H&S concerns. Informative B: the replacement species to be selected from: small leaved lime, sessile oak, Robinia, wild service tree (Sorbus torminalis), walnut, hornbeam, hop hornbeam, Norway maple, Indian horse chestnut, tulip tree, Caucasian wingnut, golden rain tree/Pride of India (Koelreuteria paniculata), katsura (Cercidiphyllum japonicum), Japanese pagoda tree (Styphnolobium japonicum), Italian alder, hackberry (Celtis australis), Kentucky coffee tree (Gymnocladus dioica), Bee-bee tree (Tetradium daniellii), Caucasian elm (Zelkova carpinifolia). Informative C: please confirm with the tree officer the replacement species and location as soon as possible. Informative D: 9x replacement trees already planted on the site are greatly appreciated to retain a treed site for amenity, wildlife and shade to reduce increasingly high summer temperatures due to climate change, and important to be maintained and replaced if fail to thrive ? see below for details of the replacement trees.Informative E: please retain a safe standing stem or high stump and create habitat log piles on site with arisings for wildlife and biodiversity.
