REAR: ONE Mulberry (T1 in applic/ T20 in survey/ T3 in TPO)(ht.8m) CROWN REDUCE HEIGHT to approx.ht.2.5m, RADIUS REDUCE to approx.0.5m to 1m, to retrench to monolith retaining growth points. Reason: to retrench, as two pollard poles collapsed out on East and West compass, one remaining pollard pole on North compass, major decay in the lower trunk with ivy growth, weight of the branches appears to have contributed to the branch failures ripping into the low trunk. Replanting - another Mulberry to be planted nearby on south/southwest compass with irrigation tube, 5yr watering regime to be undertaken by onsite staff: watering thoroughly at planting time and day after via irrigation tube and drenching surrounding soil, water daily for first week, then twice a week for the next month, first year (spring and summer) water two to three times a week, increasing frequency during hot, dry periods, approx.50 litres water per week (April- Sept), second year to five years continue to water twice a week during the summer months; maintenance by visiting gardener who attends fortnightly who will also monitor the tree's progress.The Council hereby GRANTS the following AMENDED proposed tree works to crown reduce and retrench (not fell) as agents tree descriptions, images and dimensions in emails 3.9.25, 4.9.25, and 8.9.25 and plant a replacement mulberry tree: The London Borough of Lewisham (Ladywell House, 330 Lewisham High Street London SE13 6JZ) Tree Preservation Order 2023
