Reason: due to poor condition, heavy ivy growth, deadwood, obstruction to rear garden driveway, replacement tree planting to be carried out.Informative A: the council recognises the tree's condition and that it obstructs the access way to the rear garden but wherever possible measure to retain trees are encouraged for the benefits trees provide for amenity, wildlife and climate change mitigation. Informative B: the proposed voluntary replacement tree planting in the front garden to the south of the lime (T1) as agent's email 12 July 2025 is greatly appreciated and 2x replacement trees are encouraged either side of the existing front conifer, suggest species selected from: sessile oak, Robinia, wild service tree (Sorbus torminalis), Bird cherry, Tulip Tree, hornbeam, hop hornbeam (Ostrya carpinifolia), Indian horse chestnut, wingnut, Pride of India/Golden Rain tree (Koelreuteria paniculata), Japanese pagoda tree (Styphnolobium japonicum), Italian alder, Hackberry (Celtis australis), Kentucky Coffee Tree (Gymnocladus dioica), Ginkgo biloba.
